Colourful and varied displays reflect the history and life of Woodbridge and its townspeople - including the Elizabethan lawyer and benefactor Thomas Seckford, the painter Thomas Churchyard and the translator Edward FitzGerald. Anglo Saxon life is illustrated with some of the items found at Burrow Hill and by the ship burial at Sutton Hoo. Changes from then until the present day are described century by century by displays that encompass trade, roads, housing, religion and education. There is an audio-visual display of the most interesting photographs from the Museum's collection. The Museum sells souvenirs to suit many tastes and pockets, and provides free activity sheets relating to the exhibits for children of all ages.
