The town of Woodbridge standing on the right bank of the River Deben is situated eight miles north-east of the Suffolk County Town of Ipswich. It has many places of historical and architectural interest and the narrow streets in the town centre abound in picturesque buildings and ancient inns. Woodbridge can be reached easily by road and rail.  It is situated just off the main trunk road A12. The B1079 into Woodbridge will take you to the Shire Hall at Market Hill.
