Woodbridge is surrounded by four high quality golf clubs, The Ufford Park Hotel and Leisure Centre, Seckford Golf Club, Woodbridge Golf Club and St Audry’s Golf Club, not to mention the various other courses up and down the coast. It also boasts a swimming pool and the Farlingaye Sports Centre.
A popular activity is sailing and there are two sailing clubs along the quayside of Woodbridge, while out on the coast the conditions are perfect for windsurfing. The tidal river Deben is also a great place for experienced kayakers, canoeists, and rowers to practice their craft.
Suffolk’s roads, lanes, paths and rolling countryside make for great cycling, offer splendid views, contain fascinating destinations, and are sure to keep even the most ardent peddler happy. |
If more speed is your thing there’s always go-karting or in Rendlesham forest the chance for off-road cycling.
